Transferring to Macquarie University

Please be informed that academic information sessions will be held between Monday 3 May and Friday 7 May 2010.

Further information will be posted on the portal next week. Students who are expecting to complete their diploma/advanced diploma this semester are strongly recommended to attend.

Instructions of how to apply entry to Macquarie University and Macquarie City College will be given at the information sessions.

New Look!!!

Finally... We have made some changes to it. We suddenly realized that what we learned in assignment 1 is so useful when we are doing assignment 2 :)

Btw, it's painful when dealing with the banner. GIF always gives a hard edge when transparent background. So I used a very doggy method...merely by matte a 50% gray...LOL -,-

New Library?!

Finally, the site looks like a building now. But I guess it will not be available until I graduate...OMG :( Btw, it will be much closer to go to SIBT after it's ready, which is also impossible before our graduation...

U-bar

UBar

The UBar is the central entertainment venue at Macquarie University. Located on Level Two of the Campus Hub Building, the UBar provides a wide range of entertainment available to the campus community.

There are various parties on every thursday.

like TRAFFIC LIGHT PARTY, Super hero party,anything but clothes party etc. This is Toga Party.That is really fun.Lets get on board.

Macquarie City campus: good choice for learning

Location is good~~~Check this out.

Have you ever studied @ the city campus? It is your best choice ever, dude. The location is excellent!!! Where is it? It's in the CBD in sydney. What's more exciting is that: Wynard train station is just below the city campus, which you just need 1 minute run to Town Hall train station!!!

Macquarie Graduation

That's our ultimate goal, man. (SIBT, come on, let us pass~) Actually, SIBT had a graduation ceremony nearby as well. Just in the M @ UQ building 3rd floor. And those tents you see in the picture, they are for Macquarie students. However, champaign are free. :)

Specifications for the blog:
1. Design:

Add at least 3 links to other blogs (complete)
Post a comment on a blog that isn't a student’s blog.(complete)
Add an image to the header instead of the title and description (complete)
Add a gadget on the right hand side column (complete)
Change the text colour to something other than black (complete)
Edit about me to include my location 'Macquarie University' as my city/town, NSW as Region/State and Australia as the Country / Territory. (complete)
Move the About me to the top of the right hand side column. (complete)
Do not add your blog to ‘bloggers listings’ (complete)
2. Content:
Add at least 4 images (complete)
We expect that there will be at least 10 - 15 posts. The whole idea is that this assignment is a progress not something you put together overnight. We will be using the date stamps to verify your posts timings. (not yet )

4. Report
Part of the assignment is to write a report. You will need to write a report that is one –at least two pages in length. The report should outline the following:
1. Explain why you chose the blog topic.
2. What were the largest challenges with a team assignment?
3. How did you come up with the final design that you used.
4. Compare a blog that has similar content to yourself, critically analyse your site comparing theirsres.(not yet)
